Field Coordinator

Hazen and Sawyer has an exceptional opportunity for aField Coordinator/Senior Field Coordinatorto support the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure. Duties include all aspects of construction inspection administration and coordination of management. The selected candidate will inform the CM team by observing and report on construction activities effectively coordinating and collaborating with project team members and providing documentation and inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary function in this position is to observe and manage contractors work to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Other duties include facilitating coordination and communication between Owner and Contractor to ensure construction activities do not impact Owner operations. The Sr. Field Coordinator will also assist with construction administration documentation: RFIs RFCs field orders claims submittal/schedule review meetings payment applications etc.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably candidates will have an Associate or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in construction administration and observation.
• Candidate with water or wastewater facility construction experience in lieu of the aforementioned degree with be given equal consideration.
