• Identify likely areas of emerging applications and propose applications solutions to product management

• Play a significant role when introducing and supporting new products and applications

• Work with R&D and the Product Manager on new product requirements and early system/performance testing

• Tackle customer partner concerns through in-depth troubleshooting

• Team with individual sales professionals to identify and nurture new or target accounts departments key influencers according to sales plans.

• Generate collateral including customer presentations application notes and white papers on selected FTIR topics

• Prepare and present seminars to wide array of trade shows and technical conferences

• Prioritize projects and mentor junior colleagues

• Prepare and deliver customer and sales training presentations on various applications and product topics

• Lead product demonstrations showcasing Thermo Fisher Scientifics state-of-the-art FTIR technology and applications.

• Travel: up to 20%

• BS in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or similar

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related technical role

• Proficiency in FTIR gas analysis is required

• Experience with chemometrics is helpful

• Able to handle multi-tasking deliveries and timelines

• Excellent organization skill detail oriented

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
