The Position

Our client is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their Mobile Health Team. This provider will travel to local schools and community locations delivering primary care services wellness visits sports physicals screenings and preventive healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity for an APRN who enjoys working independently while making a direct impact in underserved communities.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Active Florida APRN License
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certification Required
  • Active DEA License or Ability to Obtain
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in Primary Care Preferred
  • New Graduates with Relevant Clinical Experience Encouraged to Apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services within the Mobile Health Clinic
  • Travel to schools and community locations throughout the service area
  • Perform wellness visits sports physicals and preventive screenings
  • Assess diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs and laboratory studies
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
