JOB REQUIREMENTS
Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner License
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
Active DEA (Preferred)
Current NP Certification
Inpatient Psychiatry or Behavioral Health Experience (Preferred)
Ability to Independently Perform Physicals and Oversee Medical Care for Psychiatric Inpatients
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Medical Oversight for Adult Psychiatric Inpatients
Conduct Admission and Follow-Up Physical Examinations
Evaluate and Manage Medical Conditions of Behavioral Health Patients
Collaborate with Psychiatry Nursing and Behavioral Health Staff
Document Patient Encounters and Treatment Plans
Participate in Multidisciplinary Care Planning
