Location

Kennewick WA. Primarily on-site with flexibility to work from home as appropriate. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Washington State and have at least 1 year of litigation experience. Family law experience is highly preferred but strong litigation attorneys from other practice areas with an interest in family law are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

• Represent clients in family law litigation matters including divorce child custody parenting plans child support spousal maintenance and related disputes.
• Manage a diverse caseload from intake through resolution.
• Prepare pleadings motions discovery and legal briefs.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
• Represent clients during hearings mediations settlement conferences and trials.
• Build trusted client relationships through excellent communication and advocacy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.
• Negotiate favorable settlements while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Bar license.
• 1 year of litigation experience.
• Family law experience preferred.
• Strong legal research writing and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Highly organized with strong case management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
