Location: Colleyville TX This is an in-person position designed for attorneys who can maintain a reasonable commute to the office. Flex Fridays are offered every other Friday out of the office.

Note: Active membership with the State Bar of Texas and family law experience are must-have qualifications. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Colleyville generally within approximately 20 miles as relocation assistance is not available.

Job Description

• Conduct client consultations and participate in new client sign-ups.
• Manage family law cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings discovery motions correspondence and other case-related documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings mediations and trials.
• Represent clients in court and contested family law proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide timely updates regarding case strategy and progression.
• Manage case calendars deadlines and overall case progression.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys to move matters forward efficiently.
• Develop practical litigation strategies tailored to each clients objectives.
• Build strong client relationships while maintaining high standards of professionalism and legal advocacy.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar License and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• 1 year of directly relevant family law experience.
• Strong interest in family law litigation courtroom advocacy and client representation.
• Excellent legal writing communication organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively with the broader legal team.
• Professional self-motivated accountable and client-focused.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Colleyville TX; relocation assistance is not available.
