Job Title: Family Law Attorney (Associate or Partner Level)

Location: Cherry Hill NJ (Hybrid available after initial training period)

Compensation:

• Associate Attorney Level: $85000 - $125000 annually based on experience
• Partner Level: Compensation commensurate with experience and existing book of business

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Full-Time

Job Summary:Our Client in Cherry Hill NJ is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their team. This is a Full-Time Direct Hire opportunity. The firm is open to considering both Associate and Partner-level candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of family law matters including divorce custody child support alimony domestic violence and post-judgment proceedings. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a hybrid schedule available after the initial training period.

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Handle family law cases from initial client consultation through settlement mediation trial and final resolution.
• Client Representation: Represent clients in matters involving divorce child custody child support alimony domestic violence post-judgment motions and related proceedings.
• Legal Drafting: Prepare pleadings motions certifications discovery requests and responses settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Court Appearances: Attend hearings conferences motions mediations and trials in New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts as required.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients opposing counsel court personnel and other relevant parties.
• Case Strategy: Develop effective legal strategies and provide practical client-focused legal advice throughout all stages of litigation.
• Deadline Management: Monitor case deadlines maintain organized case files and ensure timely completion of all legal filings and documentation.
• Business Development: Participate in networking relationship building and business development initiatives to support firm growth.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars.
• Minimum 3-5 years of family law experience.
• Strong knowledge of New Jersey Family Law; willingness to learn and handle Pennsylvania Family Law matters.
• Excellent analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment.
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software applications.
• Book of business is highly desirable for Partner-level candidates.
