PSY761:Psychoeducational Assessment Practicum 1

St. Johns University Center for Psychological Services seeks a licensed psychologist to provide on-site clinical supervision to doctoral candidates in psychology for three hours per week. The supervisor will reviewtesting protocols and reportwriting oversee case documentation and ensure quality training and client care throughout the semester. Compensation starts at $7624 ($1906/credit for afour creditcourse)for the 15-week semester and iscommensuratewith experience. Supervision is expected to continue until all students have completed the minimum number of cases assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Provide group supervision to doctoral trainees on psychological and psychoeducational assessment cases including testselection administration scoring interpretation and report writing

• Review and co-sign trainee assessment reports/clinical documentation ensuring clinical accuracy ethical compliance and adherence to professional writing standards

• Conduct live or recorded observation of trainee testing sessions and provide constructive competency-based feedback

• Monitor trainee progress toward assessment-related competencies and provide input for formal evaluations

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice psychology inNew Yorkstate (or license-eligible with licensurewithin a specified probationary period) in good standing with the state psychology board

• Doctoral degree: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Counseling or School Psychology from an APA-accredited (or equivalent) doctoral program.

• Advanced assessment training and experience:Post-licensureexperience administering scoring and interpreting a broad range of psychological and psychoeducational assessment instruments (e.g. cognitive personality neuropsychological and diagnostic measures) withdemonstratedexpertisein integrating findings into comprehensive reports

• Clinical supervision experience/credentials:Experience providing clinical supervision to doctoral trainees or postdoctoral fellows ideally with formal supervision training or certification

• High level writingandreasoning skills

• Ideally the instructor will have taken the course previously

• Must be able to work with other instructorsrunning other sections
