SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP:The intern will work closely with the Workforce and Integration Department gaining hands-on experience in employment services and data entry and supporting employment specialistswithavarietyofadministrativeandoperationaltasks.Theinternshipwillprovideexposureto workforce management systems. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute tothe day-to-day operations helping with data management and ensuring smooth communication between teams. This role will foster growth in administrative skills data organization and understanding of employmentprocesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workindividuallywithclients tocreateupdateandreviewresumesjobsearchingnetworking opportunities and interview preparation.
SupporttheWorkforceteamwithavarietyofprojectsandadministrativetasksincludingdataentryfilinganddatabasequalityassurance.
Reachouttopotentialemployerstodiscussjobopportunitiesforclients.
Assistinmaintainingcommunicationwithemployersaboutjobopenings.
Helppreparepaperworkanddocumentsneededforjobapplicationsclientprofilesand employer communication.
LEARNINGOBJECTIVES:

Gainskillsincreatingprofessionalresumesandapplyingforjobsonbehalfofclients.
Developcommunicationskillsbyreachingouttoemployersandmaintainingrelationships.

Gethands-onexperiencewiththerecruitmentprocessfromjob applicationstoemployeroutreach.
REQUIREMENTS:
Multilingualorbilingualinoneormoreofthefollowinglanguagesispreferred:SpanishFrench Dari Pashto or Haitian Creole.
Strongattentiontodetailandaccuracyindataentryanddocumentmanagement.
BasicproficiencyinMicrosoftOfficeSuite(WordExcelOutlook).
Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
Abilitytoorganizetasksandmanagetimeeffectively.
Comfortableworkingindependentlyandaspartofateam.
Compensation:Thisisanunpaidinternshipopportunity.
WorkingEnvironment:
ThispositionisinpersonatourElCajonoffice.
MustbeabletocompleteworkduringbusinesshoursMonday-Friday8:30am-4:30pm.Noshifts will be scheduled outside of these business hours.
