• a M.A. degree in Environmental Studies and prior college-level teaching experience with introductory courses in Environmental Studies/Science OR

• a specialization in Environmental Studies/Science and experience teaching college students. Ph.D. or ABD preferred.

Bulletin Course Description:

This course is designed to introduce students to the interdisciplinary study of environmental issues and provide students with an introductory level of familiarity with a range of disciplines including ecology environmental science policy economics ethics and social justice. Students will learn to develop compare and integrate the key concepts and methods from multiple disciplinary perspectives and apply them to specific environmental issues and topics including an applied community-engaged learning project.

This course is scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays 3:30pm-4:50pm in person on TCNJ campus in Ewing NJ with a maximum enrollment of 34 students.
