DEPARTMENT OFACCOUNTANCYis one of seven departments in the Tobin College of Business.The department has full-time faculty membersandutilizesseveral adjuncts to cover courses in the Tobin core at the undergraduate and graduate levelsas well as degreeprogramsin B.S. inAccountingM.S. inAccountingandMBA concentrationinAccounting.
Responsibilities:
TheDepartment of Accountancywithin the Tobin College of Business at St. Johns University seeksadjunct faculty to teachaPrinciples ofFinancialAccountingclassas well as an Accounting Information Systems class for theFall 2026 semester and beyond for daytime and/or nighttime courses at our Queens campus (8000 Utopia Parkway).
Qualifications:
Masters degree and prior teachingexperiencepreferred in area or related field. Strong industry experience is strongly recommended.

- Adjunct Professor $10000 to 11000
- Adjunct Associate Professor $9000 to $10700
- Adjunct Assistant Professor $7700 to $9500
- Adjunct Instructor $7500 to $7800
