The duties of this position are in support of the missions goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; care of patients with lung cancer; establish and maintain a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes detection and treatment of lung cancer; participate in administrative committees and councils of the OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head.

It is anticipated the position will be made up of the following components: Clinical teaching research/academic and inpatient service.

• MD OR MD/PhD
• Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Board eligible/certified in Hematology and or/Medical Oncology

• Proven success working with multi-disciplinary teams
• Proven track record of leading research projects
• History of specialized training and clinical experience focused on the care of patients with thoracic malignancies including lung and head & neck cancers.
