Minimum Qualifications
The Program is open to all qualified applicants. Qualification is determined by meeting the eligibility requirements listed below which align with the minimum requirements to be employed as a faculty intern as established by the California Code of Regulations Title V . Never taught at a community college. Degree in-process matches matches with a discipline. Use the California Community Colleges definition of Minimum Qualifications to understand in which discipline youd be able to serve as a faculty member. If your degree is in a non-traditional academic discipline that doesnt match traditional lower-division classes offered at our colleges please be sure to read through the Minimum Qualifications Handbook . For those disciplines in which a masters degree is required faculty interns must have completed at least 50% of the credits toward their graduate degree. For those disciplines in which a a masters degree is not required faculty interns must have six (6) years of related work experience and completion of half of an Associate degree OR four (4) years of related work experience and completion of half of a Bachelors degree.
