Job Summary

Position Title:Facility EngineerPay Rate:$93400 - $137000Category/Shift:Salaried Full-TimeThe Job You Will Perform:Support the Mill Reliability Leader in planning scheduling executing and documentation of inspections repairs and modifications to Cranes Tanks Vessels Boilers and Safety Relief Devices steel and concrete structures and underground utilitiesIdentify and schedule inspection and repair activities in Mill production areasEnsure all work is performed in accordance with International Paper policies standards and specificationsEnsure that equipment documentation is kept up-to-date and stored in an orderly mannerCoordinate contract inspection and repair resources with area operating departments during maintenance outagesMaintain and update all hard copy and electronic files after modifications repairs or replacementAbout You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 4-year engineering degree or currently hold an NBIC API 510 or API-653 certification plus two (2) years practical experience with tank and vessel inspectionAlternatively five (5) years practical experience with tank or vessel inspectionGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to climb ladders walk distances work from heights work in confined spaces stand or sit for extended lengths of timeWork rotating shifts as requiredActive participation in mill safety programs (personal safety training PJSA and BBS)Ability to visually identify equipment by type; e.g. storage tanks boiler pressure vessels & heat exchangers relief valve rupture discAbility to visually identify basic materials of construction; e.g. concrete fiberglass plastic carbon steel and stainless steelMechanical aptitude. Previous experience as a Mechanic Welder or PipefitterAble to use Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook to generate reports and communicate with mill personnel. Must be able to navigate web-based service literature and to present information to small groups; e.g. Mill Lead Team department MWS Teams to sort and organize paper and electronic filesAbility to coordinate contract inspection and repair resources with area operating departmentsWillingness to travel if requiredFunctional knowledge and skill in the use of SAP to create work notificationsAbout Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
