Role: Director of Facilities

In this leadership role youll oversee all campus and facility operations including Facilities Grounds Custodial Services and Project Management for a day school in your area. Youll manage a team and coordinate with outside contractors ensuring the campus is clean safe and well-maintained. • Oversee campus facilities grounds custodial services and project management.
• Manage a team of staff contractors and vendors ensuring performance training and development.
• Ensure clear communication on facilities construction and safety projects within the school community.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget review invoices and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Manage sustainability initiatives and collaborate with school departments on on-campus events.
• Oversee CMMS to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Management Civil or Mechanical Engineering Facilities or Construction Management (preferred).
• 5 years of experience in facility/building/property management or construction management with at least 5 years in a supervisory role (educational setting experience preferred).
• Expertise in at least two technical trades (plumbing carpentry mechanical electrical roofing HVAC or other building trades).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required.
• Ability to interact positively with the client staff and the public.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
