Facility Maintenance Technician

Coast Electric is seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to help maintain our facilities grounds and infrastructure. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our buildings equipment and properties remain safe functional and well main for employees members and visitors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general maintenance repair and improvement of Coast Electric and CoastConnect facilities and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving building systems including electrical plumbing carpentry and related components.
• Install maintain and repair facility infrastructure equipment fixtures and grounds.
• Assist with construction renovation and facility improvements projects.
• Support communication and technology infrastructure by assisting with cable installation and troubleshooting.
• Prepare facilities and grounds for company meetings events and operational needs.
• Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; high school diploma preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance construction facilities maintenance or related field preferred.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems plumbing carpentry and general business maintenance.
• Basic understanding of computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) timekeeping software and other electronic systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work overtime holiday and weekend when needed or in emergency situations as Coast Electric is designated as an essential business and/or emergency responder.
