Facility Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 an hour
The pay listed is the pay range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.

Shift:Fulltime days 7am-3:30pm weekends and overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing-related issues.
• Repair patch texture and finish drywall as needed.
• Prepare surfaces and perform interior and exterior painting projects.
• Assist with electrical repairs and maintenance in accordance with safety standards.
• Assemble install and repair fixtures furniture doors locks and hardware.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 3 years of previous maintenance technician experience
• Experience in general building maintenance or handyman services.
• Knowledge and experience in plumbing electrical systems drywall repair and painting.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift carry and move materials and equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced multi-facility corporate environment with a focus on providing the best possible service to a demanding group of customers.
