Facility Maintenance Lead

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform functions as required relating to building maintenance.
• Perform basic carpentry plumbing painting and electrical tasks to maintain buildings.
• Perform routine commercial HVAC preventive maintenance as required.
• Perform roof maintenance. Inspect condition of roofs. Clean roof gutters and drains.
• Move and relocate office furniture and equipment adjust desks chairs and files as needed.
• Inspect and maintain facilities buildings and grounds. Perform routine maintenance and light grounds keeping.
• Document inspections logs and work orders manually and on a computer.
• Run errands as needed.
• Supports supervisors with leading and directing others and improving the efficiency and productivity on the Building Maintenance Department.
• Semiconductor Manufacturing Lead experience preferred
• Perform related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of general building construction and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry plumbing painting and electrical work.
• Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Ability to recognize occupational hazards and follow standard safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of English usage spelling grammar and punctuation.
• Working knowledge of basic shop math.
• Read and interpret building and mechanical blueprints and plans.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
• General computer skills (MS Windows E-mail MS Word MS Excel Google)

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of increasingly responsible general facilities maintenance experience or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Sufficient ability to perform light to moderate (30 lbs) lifting and carrying.
• Walking and standing for prolonged periods.
• Bending stooping kneeling and crawling.
• Working on ladders lifts and working at heights.
