Our client a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences is looking for a Facilities Technician based out of San Diego CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $39/hr on W2

Summary
In this role you will support lab office and GMP facility operations in a fast-paced biotech environment. And you will be responsible for maintaining building systems responding to maintenance requests supporting utilities and ensuring smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems
- Support building utilities and lab operations
- Respond to work orders and facility alarms
- Maintain maintenance logs and CMMS documentation
- Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers
- Support GMP and laboratory environments
Qualifications
- 4 years of facilities maintenance experience
- Experience in biotech pharmaceutical GMP or lab environments preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC building utilities and maintenance systems
- Experience with CMMS/BMS systems such as Siemens Desigo preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
