Maintains facilities facilities systems and equipment in order to provide a safe efficient and comfortable workplace. Responsibilities include operation repair and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; move and installation of equipment and/or furniture; and other related duties. Supports the development and improvement of methods procedures and controls related to facility systems utilities and infrastructure. Assists in the planning and execution of facilities and utility validation activities to ensure systems operate safely reliably and in compliance with applicable requirements.
**Please note this position is M-F 3:00pm - 11:00pm**
What Youll Do:
- Perform general office and facility maintenance duties including maintenance of building systems office equipment simple electrical projects spot painting light construction and exterior cleanup.
- Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Set up operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary to safely perform assigned tasks.
- Conduct routine periodic and special inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prevent system failures.
- Troubleshoot diagnose inspect and repair facility-related equipment and systems; communicate findings and issues to supervision as appropriate.
- Maintain and service equipment including but not limited to reach-in and walk-in coolers freezers deep fryers ice machines ovens ranges grills and refrigerant compressors.
- Perform work across multiple maintenance trades including plumbing HVAC electrical carpentry painting and general equipment repair.
- Assist with plumbing systems including piping drains sanitary and storm systems.
- Coordinate and collaborate with outside contractors to support facility and equipment repairs.
- Interpret and work from blueprints sketches layouts wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities to support equipment reliability and facility uptime.
- Demonstrate flexibility by transitioning between tasks and responding to changing priorities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a facilities team.
- Support overtime coverage and off-shift work as required; position operates primarily on a 3:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. shift.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position
What Youll Bring:
Required
- Minimum 6 yrs. experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Verifiable experience in facilities maintenance building systems or related technical trades.
- Strong troubleshooting diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical solutions.
- Electrical experience required for equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Ability to prioritize work manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to learn additional trades and progress toward multicraft technician capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as operational needs require.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to working safely and complying with all company policies safety rules and applicable local state and federal regulations.
Preferred:
- Refrigeration certification strongly preferred.
The base pay for this position is
$20.85 $41.75/hourIn specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
