Job Description:

This position will report directly to the Associate Manager of Facilities under general supervision of the Facilities Manager. This position would be the 1st shift 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM on the 4/10 standard schedule but must be available to work any shift weekends holidays and be on call as required.

This position will report directly to the Associate Manager of Facilities under general supervision of the Facilities thorough knowledge and experience in the maintenance of many types of assets including but not limited to automobiles construction equipment landscaping equipment generators and snow removal equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Will be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility
• Must have the ability to read instruction and repair manuals
• Also the ability to operate hand tools power tools diagnostic tools and other equipment to complete assigned tasks(all of the necessary tools are provided for this position)

• 50% - Asset repairs
• 30% - Preventive Maintenance
• 20% - 6S General shop upkeep cleaning or organizing

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4years of prior relevantmaintenance experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related maintenanceexperience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Proficient computer skills (such as MS Word Outlook and Excel) strongly desired
• May be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization
• May also be required to perform general maintenance tasks such as plowing snow mowing etc. as needed
• May require the ability to change into or out of personal protective equipment when entering or exiting manufacturing laboratory or other areas.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Virgina is $23.80/hr - $43.99/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
