Job Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for the on-site maintenance repair and troubleshooting of restaurant equipment for several Burger King restaurant locations within in a geographically assigned area. This position requires travel between restaurant locations on a daily basis. As a member of the Facilities Team the Facilities Technician will interact and collaborate with team members restaurant personnel and JSC Executive and Corporate Team personnel.
JSC Management Group Facilities Technician is responsible for completing objectives required to maintain the physical integrity of each restaurant and equipment to which they are assigned. This is handled with the implementation of preventative maintenance practices and responding to the maintenance needs of each restaurant in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Drivers must possess a valid drivers license for the type of vehicle to be operated and keep the license(s) with them at all times while driving.
- Drivers must have a MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that is acceptable to the companys auto insurance carrier. Please refer to our Driver Acceptability Matrix for details on moving violations and accidents within the past 5 years.
- Any changes to a drivers MVR must be reported to Immediate Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities
Utilize the timeclock app properly including recording mileage hours and job descriptions
Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs in a timely fashion
Review and update the facilities spreadsheet on the Google Drive daily before leaving each restaurant
Work to implement preventative maintenance procedures as defined by the companys checklist
Develop a work schedule to minimize the impact of position responsibilities and functions on customer service and normal restaurant operations
Organize work activities to ensure all repairs both essential and minor are completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner
Respond as quickly as possible to all internal communication
Complete the Equipment Checklist for every restaurant visit and email it to
Complete and submit daily recaps to
Work all hours necessary to open new restaurants efficiently within specified time limits and deadlines in any capacity needed
Clearly communicate with restaurant leaderships on resolution for follow up on equipment needing additional service
Required Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Conduct training for all restaurant leadership on basic maintenance of all equipment
Oversee the detail cleaning of each restaurant in the assigned district
Ability to clearly report and/or escalate issues to the appropriate company personnel as needed
