Job Description:
The Facility Technician B works under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications blueprints schematics and locally generated instructions. Responsibilities include following established work procedures; maintaining facilities boiler systems and production equipment; working on HVAC systems; and performing general maintenance tasks.

Essential Functions:
HVAC maintenance including troubleshooting and repairing plant HVAC equipment
Performing preventive maintenance on equipment such as HVAC units dehumidifiers boiler systems humidifiers etc.
Installing new HVAC and mechanical equipment
Performing general 6S shop upkeep including cleaning and organizing

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant HVAC/industrial equipment maintenance experience or an Associates Degree with 02 years of related experience
Valid state-issued Drivers License
Ability to obtain a Freon recovery license within two (2) years of employment

Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge of service and installation processes for industrial equipment
Experience working with respirators breathing air devices and participation on fire/rescue teams
Maintenance certification or technical training from a college or trade school
Experience or training in Mechanical HVAC Boiler and/or Electrical systems; state licensure in any of these areas is a plus
Selfstarter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
