Job Summary

Job Summary

The Facilities Team Lead will be a detailed-oriented person with a heart to serve at Cornerstone Chapel. They will be able to work efficiently in a changing environment. This individual will demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in all interactions with congregants volunteers and staff. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance and completing all tasks with excellence.

Performance Dimensions and Tasks

Ministry Support

  • Custodial support of property and care of all areas of facility interior and exterior
  • Upkeep of property & building maintenance as required
  • Distribute packages to designated areas
  • Maintain and stock supplies and inventory to assigned storage locations
  • Set up and clean up ministry events
  • Support and assist in construction projects and assemble props as needed
  • Participate in vehicle and equipment preparations and maintenance
  • Maintain and organize tools equipment and supplies
  • Delegates operations team members tasks
  • Determines priorities of operations team members support requirements
  • Oversees inventory management system for all Facility
  • Manages the inventory of tables chairs banners and stands throughout the
  • Participates in Event support meetings to determine and help coordinate Facility Team support requirements.
  • Observes and monitors overall building cleanliness and reports deficiencies
  • Provides training and instruction to operation team members
  • Interfaces with ministry leaders and admins to understand their needs and best way to
  • Communicates with operations scheduler/coordinator with real time changes in support requirements and helps minimize conflicts.

Job Specifications

  • Age: Minimum age of 18 required; Minimum age of 21 preferred
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college education or related professional training preferred
  • Experience: House Keeping Landscaping and Irrigation Building and Vehicle Maintenance
  • Skills/Abilities: Problem Solving skills; Communication skills; Ability to work independently; Ability to follow instructions; Ability to lift heavy objects; Ability to anticipate the needs of others and serve willingly; Ability to work a flexible schedul
  • Other Characteristics: Patient; Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job; Teachable spirit; Completes tasks in a timely manner
