Position Summary:
The Facilities Planner/Scheduler is responsiblefor the administration and support for the maintenance work order system.This system is the primary tool used in managing break/fixes preventivemaintenanceand total preventive maintenance on equipment.Collaborates with other departments and divisions to manage work priorities develop job plansidentifythe necessary resources (parts materials suppliesskillsetand personnel) to complete projects.You willbe responsible forcoordinating and planning maintenance tasks ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimizing downtime. Yourexpertisein scheduling coordination and preventive and predictive maintenance will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our maintenance operations.
Compensation: $28-30 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Work closely withmaintenance and production teams to schedule plan and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance work orders
Review closed work orders for completeness and accuracy.
Report weekly maintenance performance andOEE(overall equipment effectiveness) metrics.
Enter changes toCMMS(computer maintenance management systems) preventive maintenance frequency and procedures based on feedback from data collected and from engineeringproductionand maintenance teams.
Coordinate with outside contractors to ensuretimelycompletion of maintenance work orders.
Coordinate with outside contractors to receive job bids and ability to create purchaserequisitiontokeep facilitiesprojects stayon schedule.
Plan and schedule activities of maintenance personnel to achieve efficientutilizationofmanpower materials and facilities.
Schedule maintenance of process equipment to avoid conflict with production and to avoidbreakdowns.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
3years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturingenvironmentplanning experience preferred.
Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills.
Experience in the use of a CMMS isrequiredSAP platform is desired.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience withmanaging organizing andmaintaininginventory.
Demonstrated understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft.
High focus and emphasis on detail safety and quality.
Must be able to manage and balance multiple priorities with varying deadlines and ensure effective progression to completion.
Excellent team player whodemonstratesleadership abilities.
