Job Summary
MalaceHR is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for facility operations and service delivery. This position will work closely with regional leadership and the Corporate Real Estate team to ensure facilities are maintained efficiently safely and in accordance with operational requirements.
The Facilities Manager will oversee day-to-day facility operations vendor performance budgeting reporting and improvement initiatives while ensuring a high level of customer and tenant satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility management activities and service delivery.
- Support regional leadership in the implementation of short- and long-term facility projects.
- Coordinate facility and tenant requirements to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement programs processes and procedures designed to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.
- Oversee monthly quarterly and annual facility reporting.
- Assist with the development and management of capital and operating expense budgets.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports for operating budgets.
- Assist in developing and implementing annual management plans for assigned facilities.
- Oversee vendor and contractor performance during normal business hours and off-hours including weekends when necessary.
- Coordinate with technical and administrative teams within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Identify opportunities to improve facility operations service quality efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders vendors and facility occupants.
- Support multiple facilities and/or operational areas with varying functions as required.
- Minimum of 6 years of facilities management or related industry experience within a corporate environment third-party service provider or consulting organization.
- Strong facilities operations and vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee both technical and administrative personnel.
- Strong organizational leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Experience working with CMMS and/or work order management systems.
- Ability to provide facility support outside normal business hours including weekends when operationally necessary.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Facilities Management or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Knowledge of building systems and facility infrastructure.
- Experience with real estate telecommunications furniture accounting and related facility functions.
- Experience overseeing multiple facilities with varying operational requirements.
- Experience managing capital projects operating budgets and facility improvement initiatives.
