Job Summary

Facilities Maintenance Technician Full-time $27$30/hr City of Saco

The City of Saco is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance cleaning and minor repairs across City buildings. This role works independently under the general direction of the Facilities Director and Deputy Director.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform building maintenance including minor plumbing electrical HVAC and carpentry repairs.
Monitor and service systems such as heating ventilation emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.
Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
Set up rooms for meetings and events across multiple locations.
Assist visitors and support general building operations.
Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal.
Handle special waste and maintain safety records
Installs and maintains holiday decorations as directed by Facilities Manager.
Support custodial tasks and other projects as assigned.
