Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Lewiston Idaho
Position Summary
Happy Day Corporation is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of our restaurants distribution center and corporate facilities. This position performs a wide variety of building equipment and facility maintenance work and every day brings something different.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform repairs on restaurant equipment and building systems.
Complete preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical plumbing and facility issues.
Install equipment and assist with remodels.
Respond to emergency service calls.
Complete work orders accurately.
Maintain a clean work area.
Safely operate company vehicles tools ladders and equipment.
Communicate repair status with management.
Minimum Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Experience in general maintenance or construction trades.
Ability to work independently.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical plumbing carpentry commercial kitchen equipment welding/fabrication HVAC refrigeration preventive maintenance or CMMS software.
EPA Certification or HVAC experience welcomed but not required.
Physical Requirements
Stand walk kneel crouch crawl climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
Lift up to 75 pounds.
Work indoors outdoors rooftops kitchens coolers freezers and mechanical rooms.
Safely use tools and maintenance equipment.
Work in varying weather conditions.
