Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will provide general maintenance repair services and respond to a range of customer requests to support the facilities needs at our corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and preventative maintenance of the facilities by performing activities including painting plumbing carpentry etc.
- Meeting set-ups.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Complete repair and maintenance tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Practice excellent customer service including timely follow up and resolution.
- Be available for on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
- Accurately record all work and associated labor time in the work management system.
- Effective communication verbally and in writing.
- Assist with exterior and ground support and maintenance from time- to -time.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years prior experience in a facilities or maintenance role preferred
- Knowledge of or skills in plumbing and painting
- Proficient with proper use of hand/power tools and appropriate safety protocols.
- Must be able to work from ladders or personal lifts at various heights.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work effectively within a team structure.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed including weekends and evenings.
- Must have a valid US Drivers License.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and maneuver 100 lbs.
- Must be able to work safely in and outdoors.
