Job Description
As a Maintenance Assistant youll play an essential role in creating a safe comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents families and team members. Working alongside the Maintenance Director youll help ensure our luxury senior living community remains beautifully maintained operating smoothly and ready to provide an exceptional resident experience every day.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with apartment turnovers including painting patching light repairs and inspections.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of indoor and outdoor common areas.
- Perform basic plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry and mechanical repairs.
- Help maintain grounds sidewalks parking areas and seasonal landscaping.
- Ensure compliance with life safety standards and company policies.
- Assist with emergency maintenance needs and community events as needed.
- Support the Maintenance Director with daily operations and special projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous maintenance facilities senior living or apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry and general building maintenance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Positive attitude strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
- Valid drivers license preferred with acceptable background and driving records.
- CPR and 1st Aid Certification Preferred.
