Job Summary

Skills You Bring to This Role:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or front-line leader in a manufacturing environment required.

Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and procedures including knowledge of electrical mechanical and/or hydraulic systems.

Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Armys Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

This position is onsite at Bells Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie Texas.

2ndShift (5:30pm-12am) Will have mandatory OT weekend shift (rotation typically every 5-6 weeks). This position will supervise employees at (Grand Prairie Facility - DSC).

Facilities Equipment & Maintenance

Responsible for leading a team of union covered maintenance technicians in the day-to-day operations of an industrial maintenance department.

This includes working closely with a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to ensure that all maintenance activities including preventative and predictive maintenance are executed efficiently.

What youll be doing as a Leader Equipment Maintenance (Front Line Supervisor):

Work closely with the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to supervise and execute all maintenance activities ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that scheduled maintenance is completed on time.

Coordinate with other departments including production quality equipment process and industrial engineering to ensure that maintenance activities do not interfere with production schedules.

Monitor and track maintenance activities including work orders parts orders and equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Identify and prioritize maintenance needs and work with management to develop and implement a budget for maintenance activities.

Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians providing training and support as needed to ensure that all team members are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.

Develop and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Inspect/audit work in progress and upon completion focusing on safety and quality of work.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability reduce maintenance costs and increase overall efficiency
