Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specializes in Facility-based projects. Facilitates and acts in charge of the programming coordinating inspection and repairs of equipment in the plant based on direction from the Facilities Manager. Takes part in the testing and calibration of electrical and mechanical systems. Demonstrates builds and enforces the best exercises for all projects and functions within the facility. Plans directs and controls the operations involved with heat power and electricity to the facility.
1. Responsible to ensure the economic functionality of maintenance.
2. Assists with the development of the strategies and plans.
3. Actively takes part in the excerption appraisal and commendation of subcontractors and vendors to bring off a better deal.
4. Provides necessary training to members of the staff.
5. Studies equipment performance for determining the intended operation.
6. Reviews all preventive maintenance work.
7. Conducts research work for the improvement of planned enhancements.
8. Facilities the engineers to control subsisting systems for fire detection.
9. Creates improvement of the efficiency of resources by developing methods and equipment.
10. Reports and updates the Facilities Manager of their work.
11. Presents the technical data results to some technical and non-technical clients.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelors degree (B. S.) in Engineering or equivalent from four-year college or technical school;
2. And/or six years to ten years related experience including facilities management or project engineering.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
2. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
3. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients and customers.
4. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
5. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
6. Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
7. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
