Facilities Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

Clemson University Athletics is looking for a Facilities Assistant to fulfill the duties outlined below.
- Performs custodial housekeeping or groundskeeping duties to keep buildings or grounds in a clean and orderly condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

70% - Assists with facility operations and maintenance. 30% - Assist with general operations within the Athletic enterprise.

Minimum Requirements:

There are no minimum training or experience requirements for this class.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB KNOWLEDGE

Fundamental working knowledge of concepts practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES

No fiscal responsibility for the departments budget.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Move transport raise or lower 50 lbs or more: 5% Walk or move about: 25% Move transport raise or lower 30lbs or less: 10% Ascend or descend (i.e. stairs ladder): 5% Use hands or feet to operate or handle machinery equipment etc.: 5% Position self to accomplish task (i.e. stoop kneel crawl): 5%

Salary is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to a candidates previous experience knowledge skills and performance in accordance with Clemsons compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:

Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
