We are currently searching for a full-time Fabricator for our maintenance welding shop to work alongside 2 other fabricators.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and electrical repair of containers compactors carts trailers etc.
- Weld steel components along with replacing hydraulic cylinders hoses and fittings
- Cut steel and fabricate steel components specifically for compactors
- Prepare containers to be sand blasted and painted
- Assist the Manager with inventory control on all PWS Inc. equipment at storage lots e.g. unload steel deliveries
- Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
- Maintain a clean safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in the necessary welding techniques
- Prior compactor maintenance experience is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
- Wisconsin Drivers License is required (CDL A or B is helpful but not required)
