Fabrication Support C Shift (Thursday, 1230pm-630pm Friday-Sunday, 630am-630pm)

B Shift (Monday-Wednesday 6:30pm-6:30am Thursday 6:30pm-12:30am)

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for efficiently operating Fabrication equipment in order to modify aluminum parts based on the specific order. This position is also responsible for using a variety of inspection tools to ensure that the parts produced meet the required quality specifications.

Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently in order to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements

Strenuous or repetitive jobs must rotate at a minimum of every 4 hours to prevent the risk of injury

• Strenuous activity is one in which it is necessary for you to use a lot of effort energy or strength
• REPETITIVE: a motion that occurs every few seconds with little or no variation
• OSHA emphasizes that job rotation should be used as a preventative measure to prevent physical fatigue and injury

Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders:

• Review manufacturing orders in order to verify internal and external customer specifications
• Package orders based on customer specifications
• Follow current work center schedule to ensure customer service and satisfaction

Monitor and recommend appropriate process improvements to safety rates yield and inspection techniques

Perform general machine maintenance as necessary to keep equipment in a well maintained condition

Provide suggestions and continuous improvements ideas to help better processes and procedures

Keep work area clean and orderly using 5S system (standardize sustain sort set in order and shine)

Continually support and improve the departments key measures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00-25.48/hour. There is also a $2.25/hour shift differential that will be added to the base pay. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors include job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.
