Fabrication Shop Foreman

• Lead and supervise fabrication shop personnel including welders fitters machinists and laborers
• Coordinate daily production schedules to meet operational deadlines and productivity goals
• Ensure fabrication work complies with engineering drawings specifications and quality standards
• Monitor workflow materials and inventory to maintain efficient shop operations
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards while promoting a strong safety culture
• Inspect tools machinery and shop equipment and coordinate maintenance when needed
• Work closely with engineering quality and procurement teams to resolve production challenges
• Train mentor and develop fabrication personnel
• Maintain production and labor records and provide updates to management
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings within the fabrication process
  
  

• 5 years of fabrication welding or metalworking experience
• 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role preferred
• Strong knowledge of welding processes fabrication techniques and blueprint reading
• Experience with fabrication equipment such as welders presses grinders shears and CNC equipment
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and maintain workflow
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical training preferred
  
  

• Ability to stand walk and climb ladders throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
• Comfortable working in an industrial fabrication environment with noise dust and heavy equipment
