Job Description:
Electrode Operator- support and manufacture a wide variety of intricate Ceramic components for production. Operate silk screening equipment abrasive trimmer equipment and spray-painting systems while following standard work instructions charts tables blueprints formulas sketches verbal and electronic orders job layouts etc. to accomplish assigned work.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and fixturing
- Must use PPE for appropriate protection.
- Must be able to lift at least 32 pounds
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and shop orders.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to install specified tooling and setting job up to specifications.
- Maintain the tooling inventory. Ensure that the tooling list is accurate and that all tools are maintained in useable condition.
- Keep an accurate completion of required documentation involved in processing of parts travelers logs process control data etc.
- House keeping
- Preventive maintenance
- Easily trained work well with engineering and supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Requires developing job knowledge/skills.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associates degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and data entry.
- Mechanical experience background.
- Good writing and communications skills.
- Basic math skills.
