Boeing Global Services is seeking a Project Management Specialist for F/A-18 Integrated Product Support & Support Equipment in Hazelwood MO. This role will work closely with functional partners suppliers and the US Navy customer to support the F/A-18 platform in critical and unique capabilities.

This role will provide primary interface with USN counterparts and Boeing Engineering Quality Supplier Management Contracts and more. The role will advise the Senior Program Manager and ensure clear communication up down and across the organization on important topics integrate with BGS and BDS programs and functions as required to accomplish program goals and model the Boeing Values and Behaviors.

The role acquires resources for organizational activities and leads process improvements monitors business unit work statement to support planning and execution aligns and integrates management system architecture across programs and business units and champions change being intentional and purposeful in communicating a services-first approach. Furthermore the role evaluates and ensures Program Management Best Practices are integrated into the teams operating rhythm.

To be successful in this position the selected candidate must have an agile mindset exceptional organizational skills and a positive and flexible attitude. Occasional travel may also be required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives
  • Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years experience in business function working with cross functional teams managing stakeholder and customer engagement
  • Knowledge or experience in project management
  • Knowledge or experience with proposal management and/or contract execution

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with schedule and finance management integration of all logistics elements customer communication as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
  • Experience managing or overseeing government contract execution
