F18 Field Service Representative

Company:

Boeing Australia is currently seeking to recruit a F/18 Field Service Representative to be based in our Amberley location in a 100% onsite capacity.

This role would suit a Boeing USA employee with substantial experience owning F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler advanced development proprietary programs.

This is a Long-Term Assignment to move to Brisbane for 5 years or more. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. See the link at the bottom.

Domestic and international travel will be required to support the F/A -18 Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler from your home base while in Australia.

About the Role:

• Lead integrator within F/A-18 Advanced Development proprietary programs. Provides daily on-site support of the Royal Australian Air Forces F-18 Fleet currently stationed at RAAF Amberley.

• Primary liaison for incorporation of the LISAT team into the Special Programs Team A transition into the Structured AGILE Framework. Working with senior engineers to understand and adapt the AGILE development process for a non-traditional team structure. Determine a trial implementation of the LISAT-Team

• Lead integrator for an Auxiliary Subsystem on the Block II EA-18G Growler. Working with teams coming from multiple different disciplines within Boeing and our partner Northrop Grumman to maintain technology feasibility and manufacturability on a compressed schedule.

• In addition to supporting the RAAF operations at RAAF Amberley must be capable to support the RAAF Fleet when they deploy theirF-18s to support worldwide exercises. Coordinating software updates equipment maintenance and squadron test readiness. Continuing to work with government counterparts to maintain and expand laboratory capabilities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Applicants must be American Citizens to meet defence security requirements

• Active Top secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Engineering Degree and/or relevant certifications and industry experience

• Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of Australia as applicable.
