F-22 Avionics Technician Mod Tech C

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-22 Avionics Technician - Mod Tech C at Nellis AFB NV.

In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance repair and upgrades on F-22 systems and structures. You will utilize aircraft technical orders publications blueprints and drawings to perform a variety of maintenance actions on aircraft systems and sub systems including electrical mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and engines.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.

• Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.

• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.

• Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking towing system operations).

• Works under supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 years of aircraft maintenance experience

• 1 years of experience with avionics installation

• Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment torque wrenches dial indicators micrometers sheet metal brakes and sheers.

• Must be willing to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience repairing and servicing military fighter aircraft F-15 F-16 F-18 A-10 F-22 F-35

• 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience

• 1 year(s) of 5th generation aircraft maintenance experience

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems

• Experience drilling cutting and fabricating aircraft structural components
