You clock in gear up and take command of an extrusion line that helps feed the worldliterally. From foodservice to grocery and retail the products you help make keep restaurants moving carryouts safe and shelves stocked. Novolex builds packaging that spans resin paper molded fiber aluminum and more with 120 categories 250 brands and 39000 SKUs. Youll be part of the team turning raw materials into dependable packaging solutions.

Shift options

• 7:30am-4:00pm
• 3:30pm-12:00pm - shift premium $1.00 per hour
• 11:30pm-8:00am - shift premium $1.25 per hour

What you make happen

On your line safety quality and uptime guide every move. You set up operate and fine-tune equipment keeping production targets in sight while coaching teammates and recording results. When a hiccup appears you track it to the source and make the right adjustmentquickly and safely.

• Operate production machinery consistently at or above targets for quality waste efficiency and utilization
• Troubleshoot issues and dial in machine settings to eliminate defects
• Offer ideas that boost output quality or safety
• Support and mentor less experienced operators on best practices
• Complete end-of-shift reports: crew time machine time and production counts
• Identify nonconforming product and correct root causes with on-machine adjustments
• Maintain housekeeping standard work and safety protocols at all times

What you bring

• Background as a Setup Operator or Extrusion Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting
• Reliabilityarrive before the shift and be ready to run on time
• Hands-on troubleshooting strength with extrusion equipment
• Clear communication and meticulous recordkeeping at required intervals
• Solid math and analytical capability
• Ability to conduct quality checks and use measurement tools correctly
• Working knowledge of product quality standards
• Comfort with PPE: hairnets beard nets steel-toe shoes/boots hearing protection and bump caps when required
• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
