Extra Service Athletics Event Staff

Established in 1844 and designated a University Center of the State University of New York in 1962 the University at Albanys broad mission of excellence in undergraduate and graduate education research and public service engages a diverse student body of more than 17900 students in nine schools and colleges across three campuses.

The University at Albany Athletic Department is looking for Faculty/Staff of the University to get involved with the Athletic Game Operations Department. We are looking for hard working detail-oriented individuals with a pride and passion for the University at Albany to serve as Extra-Service Event Staff. Employees are responsible for a wide range of game day duties such as scoreboard operators ticket sales ticket taking ushering sales and parking attendants. You will have the opportunity to attend and be a part of the action for all ticketed sporting contests including; Football Mens Soccer and Mens and Womens Basketball. All applicants must hold an exempt position with the University at Albany andmust be paid by the State of New York. Those working for the Research Foundation or University Foundation are not eligible to apply for this position. Students are not eligible for extra service. Professional Rank and Salary Range: Extra Service $15.00 per hour (or current NYS minimum wage)
