Required Education and/or Experience:
- Degree-seeking UA Little Rock students enrolled in classes at the time of application;
- Eligible to legally work 20 hours per week in the United States;
- The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma;
- Must be ineligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS);
- Required to major in Graphic Design at UA Little Rock;
- Have taken classes: Intro to Visual Arts 3D Design and Comp II
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marq templates;
- Logos work;
- Training in Adobe suite programs;
- Help assist our photographer on photoshoots;
- Grab photos of events for social media/story posts;
- Create plasma screens and marquee slides;
- Other duties as assigned to assist employees in the Office of
Communications and Marketing; - Have basic knowledge of design;
- Staff the Communications and Marketing front desk.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of Microsoft Word;
- Have a passion for design;
- Be creative;
- Be organized;
- Complete projects in a timely manner;
- Ability to work up to 20 hours per week concentrated M-F during regular business hours with the potential for some nights and weekends to cover special events;
- Staff the Communications and Marketing front desk;
- Able to follow directions & take critique.
