Summary of Job Duties:
The Extra Help Research Assistant position in the Department of Psychological Science will work 10 hours per week. The Extra Help/Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible for supporting research from idea development to publication including but not limited to field-based data collection administrative compliance participant recruitment and preliminary data management to ensure the integrity and ethical standards of the study. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Psychology
  • C or better in Psychological Research Methods



Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Experience with Data Management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Google



Job Duties:

  • Work with diverse populations;
  • Be accessible to students or colleagues through email and scheduled appointments;
  • Prepare materials as needed as determined by Dean or supervisor.
  • Maintain records and meet deadlines as required by administration;
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
