Extended School Year- Special Education Instructors

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR- SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS

Dates:July 6 2026-July 30 2026 (Monday through Thursday)

Location:Fairview Elementary School

Times: Staff Time: 8:30 AM-12:30 PM (Student Time: 9:00 AM12:00 PM)

Purpose:To provide structured individualized support that helps students maintain and strengthen their academic social and behavioral skills during the summer months while also promoting growth in key develpomental areas.

Duties:

1. To organize and deliver instruction aligned with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
2. Direct and support paraprofessionals
3. Coordinate with related service providers
4. Ongoing data collection monitoring
5. Provide an End of Program summary
6. Report to the Special Education Coordinators and Director of Special Education.

*EXTENDED DUTIES:

1. Attend Team Meetings and assist with IEP development
2. Assist with early arrivals and late pick-ups of students
3. Assist with parent communication as needed

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Education.
