Extended School Year- Educational Support Professional (Paraprofessional)

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (PARAPROFESSIONAL)

Dates: Program- July 6 2026- July 30 2026 (Monday through Thursday)

Times: Staff Time: 8:30AM-12:30PM (Student Time: 9:00AM-12:00PM)

Location: Fairview Elementary School

Purpose:Under the direction of the special education teacher support specialized instructions in acedemic social and motor skills through the delivery ans assessmnet of the Individual Educational Plan (IEP).

Duties:

• Work with individual and small groups of students
• Bring academic social and motor issues to the attention of the classroom teacher
• Assist in preparation of classroom materials
• Maintain records attendance and assessments as required by the classroom teacher.
• Assist students with activities of daily living including diapering and toileting needs if necessary

Qualifications:

1. Experience or familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
2. Knowledge of experiential learning and intensive interventions
