Full-Time Automotive Service Quick Lube Technician

Diehl of Moon is hiring a motivated and dependable Express Lube Technician / Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our busy service department in Moon Township Pennsylvania.

If you enjoy working on vehicles and want to start or advance your career in the automotive industry this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a growing automotive organization. Previous automotive experience is preferred but candidates with mechanical ability a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

As an Express Lube Technician you will perform routine maintenance and light automotive service while helping our service department provide customers with fast professional vehicle care.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Rotate and inspect tires
• Check and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect brakes tires belts hoses and other basic vehicle components
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Replace engine and cabin air filters
• Replace windshield wiper blades
• Perform basic multipoint vehicle inspections
• Identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to Service Advisors
• Follow manufacturer-recommended maintenance procedures
• Properly document completed services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow dealership and automotive shop safety procedures
• Assist other service technicians when needed
• Help provide efficient high-quality service to every customer

We are looking for candidates who are dependable mechanically inclined and interested in developing their automotive skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Automotive maintenance or quick-lube experience is a plus
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Ability to safely operate automotive tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department
• Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

Candidates with experience as a Lube Technician Quick Lube Technician Express Service Technician Oil Change Technician Tire Technician Automotive Technician Mechanic Helper Automotive Apprentice or Entry-Level Auto Technician are encouraged to apply.
