Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

TheExport VIP ClientSupport Specialistmust meetthe customerserviceexpectationsrequired by the Department for the VIP customers. Ensurestimelyand smooth process of cargo while providing outstanding personalized customer service to clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Processesbookingrequestfrom clients per booking procedure.
Handlesemails & phone callsprotocolper customer service procedure.
IssuesneededEMC based on manifest corrector procedure.
Ensuresbookings are rated inthe rate discrepancies.
Understandsaccount contracts to communicate rates free time and stipulations.
Completesa daily productivity report as part of the tasks assigned byDepartment.
Establishesandmaintainsgood relationships with customers (email/phone and F2F meetings).
Assistsand resolvescustomerinquiries.
Coordinateswith the different departments in the US and overseas to ensure smooth loading / unloading process.
Managesday to dayoperations of the assigned accounts.
Analyzesand discusseswith management responses to customers scorecards and KPI reports on
MSC performance.
AssistsFinance department in collection of outstanding invoices.
Servesas a liaison between overseas offices different MSC departments vendors and customers (isthe face of MSC in the eyes of the accounts.)
Gathersandmaintainsproficient knowledge of the market and the maritime industry.
Understandsdepartmentsprocedures and flows.
FollowsMSC policies procedures and core values.
Presence required onsite 5 days per week
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE EDUCATION

Bachelors degree preferredor equivalent experiencein a similar role(supply chain transportation shippinglogistics freightforwarding customer service etc.)
English: advanced
Strong attention to details
Organized efficient and able to manage time effectively
Strong customer service mindset focused and responsive
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Great teamplayer
Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at a time
Must be able to commute to the designated office location
Presence required onsite 5 days per week

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Authorization to work in the U.S

This role requires working on-site in the office for five days aweek from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid workin this role unless required off-site duties are being performed.
