Export Coordinator

David Bradley Associates is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder based at JFK Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of international air export shipments ensuring smooth timely and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full export process from booking through to delivery.
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers airlines and customs brokers.
  
• Prepare and process export documentation accurately and in compliance with international shipping regulations.
  
• Coordinate shipments to ensure timely movement and adherence to U.S. and foreign customs requirements.
  
• Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive communication to customers.
  
• Obtain and manage rate quotations liaising with carriers to ensure optimal routing and cost efficiency.
  
• Maintain organized records documentation and correspondence related to export activities.
  
• Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless operational flow.
  

• Proficiency in CargoWise is essential candidates must have hands-on experience with the system.
  
• Experience with Letters of credit and Hazardous materials is a plus
  
• Minimum 23 years of experience in export operations ideally within freight forwarding or logistics.
  
• Strong knowledge of international freight procedures and export compliance regulations.
