Summary
Drives strategic technical solution design to align with enterprise architecture and business objectives while directing the creation of comprehensive work plans that support organizational priorities. It governs configuration and implementation standards across all environments evaluates enterprise-wide processes to recommend optimizations and leads resolution of complex operational issues. Responsibilities include establishing documentation standards developing advanced test strategies with automation and performance benchmarks and defining technology standards that influence enterprise policies. Assists in resource planning for large-scale initiatives and monitors project execution to ensure compliance with timelines quality metrics and organizational goals.
Job Duties
- Drives strategic technical solution design aligning with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Directs creation of comprehensive work plans ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.
- Architects and governs configuration and implementation standards across development staging and production environments.
- Evaluates enterprise-wide processes recommends optimizations and leads resolution of complex operational issues.
- Establishes and enforces documentation standards ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Develops and validates complex test strategies incorporating automation and performance benchmarks.
- Defines and maintains technology standards influencing enterprise policies.
- Leads resource planning and estimation for large-scale initiatives.
- Monitors project execution ensuring compliance with timelines and quality metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 7 years Related work experience and
- 10 years Progressive experience in Information Services or combination of Information Services and direct Health Care experience. and
- Large scale implementation/upgrades and
- Comprehensive test plan development and
- Project resource and budget management
- Large Hospital/IDN Information Technology Experience and/or Healthcare Operations Experience
- EPIC Application Certification plus one additional Secondary EPIC Certification
- Large Project Management
- Implementation/Upgrade Facilitation
- Integrated Applications Planning Development and Implementation
- Technical Collaboration (e.g. Interfaces Hardware and Reporting)
- Team Leadership
- Coaching and Mentoring
- Triaging On-call/DR/BC
- Strong oral and written communication skillsv
- EPIC Certification - Epic Systems Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science or Healthcare or
- Masters Degree Computer Science or Healthcare
- 10 years Direct applications build on current software version and
- 15 years Progressive experience in Information Services or a combination of Information Services and direct healthcare experience.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing frequent keyboard use *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling bending squatting and performing CPR.
